The CU Presents Box Office is seeking new part time and full time Box Office Assistants both for its summer season and continuing into the school year. Box Office Assistants help us sell tickets to the public, assist with mailings and office projects, and assist with will call at our night-of-show box office. Typically, Box Office Assistants work 15-40 hours a week during our summer daytime hours with evening duties as needed for performances. Because of regular interactions with our patrons, we value attitude, customer service, and problem solving skills as important assets in the student employees we hire.
Qualified applicants must be current or incoming CU students. International students must have appropriate work visa status and be eligible to work through the International Students office. Desired qualifications include customer service experience, knowledge of the performing arts, work with database and/or point-of-sale software, and excellent written/verbal/phone communication skills. We are especially interested in students who would like to continue working for the box office in the fall, incoming freshmen, and incoming graduate students. Work-study is not required.
Pay for the position begins at $10.25 an hour with opportunities for pay increases based on experience and performance. Job benefits include a flexible, on-campus working environment and tickets to CU Presents productions.
